What started out as a part-time hobby in 2020 has now become a cherished business operating in the heart of Papamoa and the wider Tauranga region. Starting our own small business was always a dream and now you could say we finally got round ‘TUIT’.

THE TUIT TEAM

Fahad Hassan - Director / Qualified Builder

Fahad is our qualified builder and site manager. He began building in 2018 where he fell in love with being able to use his own hands to create beautiful spaces from raw materials.

His friendly and honest nature allows clients to relate to him and feel confident that he has understood their goals for any project - big or small. He’s not afraid to battle the elements in order to get a job done and expertly manages other tradies on site as required to ensure the project is delivered on time.

Fahad’s experience is broad, covering large scale renovations, new builds and most recently outdoor living spaces with a focus on high-end decking.

Kaitlin Hassan - Director / Spatial Design

Kaitlin is our inhouse designer. She holds a Bachelor of Spatial Design, a Certificate in Interior Design and is currently training as an Architectural Technician. After 10 years working in design and sales within the commercial furniture industry she decided to follow her dream into residential design.

She is passionate about spatial planning and enjoys working with your current space and furniture to reduce the amount of waste and cost. Kaitlin also enjoys blurring the lines between the interior and exterior. Whenever possible she focused on bringing the outdoors inside each interior space to create harmony between humanity and the environment.

Blake Cameron - Apprentice Builder

An ambitious 21 year old, Blake is excited to acquire the trade skills of a builder and explore everything the construction industry has to offer.

Blake studied a pre-trade carpentry course at Polytech where he confirmed his passion for carpentry and looks forward to learning from the team at TUIT.

Brodie Sawford - Apprentice Builder

The youngest of 7, Brodie is 17 years old and already determined to succeed. Finishing school with the ambition to be the best builder the bay has seen.

Brodie has a passion for cars and car photography. His creative mind and skills with his hands will do him well as he starts his journey in the building industry.
